All Palm devices at present use a 160x160 screen dimension - this is
pretty much hardwired into the OS at the moment.

Palm would have to update the OS - I believe it's been mentioned that
PalmOS 4.0 is going to remove the screen size limitations to allow PalmOS
to scale to different devices. But that's a long way off.

You might be able to get a licence to produce a custom version of PalmOS
3.x without the limit, but most/all software would not provide support for
the different screen sizes - the custom version would need to figure out
how to handle this major issue.
