I created an Application Icon family with some limited success.
Regardless of the Family size the bitmaps default to 16, you must
change them manually with the menu selection "Resize bitmap"
The family had an ID of 1000 and the first 1 bit member I created
also had an ID of 1000, The next member I created, the 256 color
member also started with an id of 1000 but it would not work so
I changed it to 1100 and this time it worked. It seems the family
allow all the members to have the same ID but then ony the last
edited setting take. With different id's it works.
The big problem I am having now is that the colors are impossible to select.
I select one color and I draw with it in my bitmap and then when I save the
color switches to another color. In fact if I pick a color and draw with it
and then use the eye dropper tool to grab that color it selects a different
color and after saving it becomes a third different color.
Here are two images that represent the colors the way I wrote them.
I included the color selection pop-up in the before image to see if that
helps explain anything. I think the selection pop-up may be listing
the colors differently then it ultimately sets them.

Then after I drop the window and raise it again I get the following.

Very Strange don't you think.......
