Hi,
I also think that a mailing list is more convenient than a news
server. I am subscribed to several mailing lists and I would never
get my work done when having to connect to several (partly low response)
news servers.
Now I have these mails readily sitting in my providers mailbox.
BTW: Not everone has flat rates!
