this is the solution i use - for a number of reasons.. free, is
more UNIX savvy.. and does what i need exactly..

i have codewarrior v6 sitting in my bookshelf collecting dust. it
was given to me at the London PalmSource summit - which was NOT
in the US :P
i think this is not a true statement that you have suggested.
