There is no restriction on export, there are just certain distributors of Palm 
Computing that are not able to export it.  I believe all Asian purchasers contact 
3Com's Japanese office, but I have US contacts listed.  Try calling David Ushijima at 
+1-408-326-9397 or Craig Will at +1-408-326-9170.  Sorry -- I don't have email 
addresses for them or the Japanese office.
