The search facility at eGroups is not very useful. The code you showed
in your original email probably works for the four application buttons,
but the green power button does not cause any keyDown event to get put
into the event queue.
Take a look at http://www.escribe.com/computing/pcpqa/m2407.html for an
example of code that actually works.
