There is no power-on notification in versions of the Palm OS prior to 3.5, so this is
very difficult to do (requiring re-entrant interrupt-level trap patches -- not
recommended). However, on Palm OS version 3.5 and later, the notification manager
provides this trigger in a clean and officially supported way.
