Are you sure about that? Looking at:

I see pin 2 is labelled VCC at 3.3 V. A quick check of one of my Palm III's 
confirms that there is 3.3V sitting there, and there is indeed a 330 Ohm 
resistor stuck to it since connecting from pin 2 to 10 (gnd) with another 
330 R reduces the voltage from pin 2-10 to 1.6 V (about 1/2 of 3.3).

Does anyone know how, for instance, the Palm folding keyboard gets its 
power? I imagine it must use extremely little and just feeds directly off 
the VCC pin. Or does it use more and is there some sort of regulator in 
there? Almost feel like buying one and ripping it apart.
