Palm Slow at Midnight

Hi,

I have had reports that the Palm is very slow for about 10 to 15 minutes at
midnight.  I am assuming that the Palm is doing some sort of housecleaning.
Is this the case and if so, what exactly is happening?  Also, is there a way
to change what time this housecleaning happens?
