Also if you are debugging to a Handspring unit, hold down the up Arrow
before
you enter the '2' and keep it held down till the program is downloaded and
the debugger is started.

I am using the 'Find' dialog to get into the debug mode. When I'm pressing the
up-arrow
key, I just get that invalid-keystroke sound from the device.
I also tried to go into MemoPad and enter the shortcut there, with the up-arrow
pressed,
but I started scrolling up into the previous memos that I have on the unit.
