CDPD and Mobitex clarification

Hi all,

Could anyone please confirm for me that a mobitex system is CDPD compliant
and is compatible with the minstrell III modem.  The only service provider
to offer mobitex here (Canada) replied to my question with:
"Jeez, I dunno, we got a box with mobitex written on it and installed it,
that's all I know."
