hi!

  morning all.. pilrc 2.5b4 is now available - the following changes
  have been made:

---
What's new in 2.5b4 (Tue,  6 Jun 2000)
-------------------
* PilRC website location change (please update everyone)
* http://www.ardiri.com/index.cfm?redir=palm&cat=pilrc
o autoconf + automake support
o MANUAL overhaul (finally)
o RGB -> System Palette(s) fixed
  - no more inverted 4bpp bitmaps
o VC++ compilation errors fixes
o Japanese Language "shift jis" handling bugfix
o Bugfixes
---

  PLEASE note the change in the website - if you are linking to PilRC,
  you should update your URL links as appropriate. the old link will
  not be updated and shall be removed soon. please use this URL - and
  do not link directly to "www.ardiri.com" (as the site will change)

    http://www.ardiri.com/index.cfm?redir=palm&cat=pilrc

  i have also provided links to Neil Rhodes's version of the PilRC
  plugin for codewarrior. he has been forwarded this mail, and hopefully
  he will update the plugin to 2.5b4 soon! :))

  in hindsite - Michael Solokov is still badgering on with "his" tool
  set and his gestapo ownerships to the GNU GPL bla... bla.. bla...
  as a result, PilRC may NOT be shipped with prc-tools in future. this
  means Michael and Palm will have to link directly to the PilRC homepage
  for users to get access to the PilRC tool.

  Palm already does this - but they will have to update the URL :)

  distribution of PilRC inside a Palm toolkit is prohibited - as neither
  wes or myself want to "acknowledge" that we favour either tool. we
  believe the choice of your environment is YOURS, as is your choice
  to use PilRC :)

  cheers.

az.
