That was precisely the point I was trying to make about the different
positions.  Test results are often reported for the
"phone-held-back-from-the-head-a-few-inches-with-the-antenna-angled-away-fro
m-the-head" position.  The results are much less acceptable for the
"smash-the-phone-up-against-your-ear-so-you-can-hear" position.  Thank you
for clarifying my point.
