Cathy, >Now my two devices are >syncing automatically and non-stop though my devices >are far away from my computer and hotsync cable.
I'd suggest selling it on eBay. Some people may pay quite a bit of money for a device which syncs automatically even when far away from the computer. :) >Is there any solution to stop syncing my device >autmatically ? As Ben mentioned, it sounds like a short in the conacts which are used for detecting when a button on a cable or cradle is pressed. Try looking at the connector on the buttom of the unit and see if you see any physical damage or foreign ojbects which could be shorting some pins together. Since it reoccurs after a hard reset, it sounds more like a hardware issue than softwrae. Check for physical damage.
