If you're switching over to an Intel architecture, then wouldn't
the 68k Motorola code present with current apps be worthless?
Perhaps they can provide a strong degree of emulation? (Which
shouldn't be so bad...most apps are developed for < 20 MHz, and
they're going to be emulated on 200 MHz processor-based machines)

If they could emulate the current apps, then Palm wouldn't be
completely forsaking its strongest attribute, namely its developer
community...

What I'd like is if Motorola and Palm could get together and design
a solution that could rival the StrongARM. It would be most efficient
to stick with what works...and Motorola works well. Then, they wouldn't
have to deal with any emulation, AND the developer community could take
advantage of the increased processor power with color graphics...

Oh well, it'll never happen now.
