We all know it's just speculation! It's just a fun pastime for any fan.

However, it's kind of useful, as speculation can breed a degree of
creativity, and give us ideas that would result from a "what if" kind of
scenerio. "What IF" Palm goes to a ARM? Then we start thinking up
ways to attempt to take advantage of the speedier processor. What IF
the new processor could support a more multitasking OS? I know, some
people consider it a waste of time, but I personally like to spend some
of my spare time thinking of these things sometimes. One way to be
successful is to get a product out before anyone else, and if you already
have a vision for a product, you can land on all 4 feet and sometimes
get moving on it before anyone else. True, you can be burned doing this,
but it's a risk, like anything else.

This is NOT baseball we're talking about here, but for many of us, it's
our livelihoods and futures.
