Hi, thanks for the response.
I think the unit passed the DRAM test, but I'll run it again, since I
can't remember whether I ran the test on this unit, or just the one
that I sent in last month for replacement of a cracked case.
(Thirty minutes later) OK, the unit passed!
Am installing the update again to see if I can replicate the problems.
I did have a whole sleu of hacks installed, including AfterBurner,
which I suspect was the culprit in this case.
Sure enough, I've found that the display problems come back with
Afterburner running even at a slightly increased clock speed, and go
away with Afterburner stopped.
My apologies for suspecting the OS update!
