Hi,
I have mailed your tech support and they have told me that only laserjets
print lines.
The reason for the confusion was that we initially had a Canon printer and
after a discussion with Joanne Pierce she told us that we would be able to
get graphics on the Deskjet. SO we bought one and it doesn't work!
The software we are developing is for a portable printer to be able to print
through an IR port data from a handheld.
I have a 3 week deadline for this so I am starting to run out of ideas.
Any help/beta versions etc. which provide ability to draw vert/horiz lines
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Richard

If I may, a slight correction: Print Manager *does* allow you to print all
kinds of graphics (our PrintBoy application uses Print Manager to render
month-at-a-glance calendars, lines, shading, etc).
The DeskJet line unfortunately runs a very old version of HP's PCL language
which does not support things like line drawing. You can get graphical
output of course from Windows, but thats using completely different
technology. Print Manager has a DeskJet driver, but graphics commands sent
to the printer are simply ignored.
Richard, if you contact us privately with more info on what you want to do,
we may be able to help you with some more information.
