I've found the same thing to be true. I get frustrated with the
Knowledgebase. Its helped me with a lot of things since I've subscribed to
this forum. And even when the Knowledgebase flakes out sometimes I can find
answers to my questions by running a "find" app that digs up messages where
someone already asked a similar question.
But some topics don't get discussed here. And they don't get covered well
in the knowledgebase. I have been working a lot with the Debug Console, but
I can't find much documentation for troubleshooting it. So after trying
other means I come here. Why? Well I use the 15 minute rule here, too. It
just so happens that when it comes to palms, I'm the newbie, so I have to
extend the same courtesy to the users of this forum as I would expect from
say, the users in my perl forum I subscribe to.
All little professionalism goes a long way. But also, new people need to
keep in mind that some questions just don't get answered. I noticed a
pattern that often times people do get answers to questions regarding the
debug console. Why? Well not because they hate the person asking, but more
likely because the information is scarce or not available. Anyways, that's
my two cents and a dime which is actually twelve cents.
