This may be unneccessary. I discovered a bug in POSE prior
to 3.0a7 causing immensely slow serial operation on big chunks of
data. This was a showstopper for us as well, as we were communicating
with a device outputting realtime data, and may very well apply
to the palm-pix full-size download.
Upgrading to 3.0a7 did wonders and now we are happy campers, serial-wize.
p.s. We have also been checking out the PalmPix camera, and are very
much in need of something resembling an sdk. Does your letter imply
that NO support is provided for utilizing the camera in custom
applications. We are working on an enterprise solution requiring
this kind of integration and would very much appreciate any pointers.
