I'll have to try that. The last I used was 3.0a6 which worked well enough to
document the serial protocol for the PalmPix. However this is of no use
until we get the proprietary picture format information from Kodak.

Some nice fellows on the pilot-unix list recently went to a Kodak DRG
conference to ask for documentation. The response was positive so I guess
we'll just have to wait a little bit longer. I've been waiting so long that
I do not even program/use the Palm any more!

Well I suggest not to buy it until we get something concrete. I've used mine
for only 5 photos since I got it back in April because of the lack of
software. I've basically given up and gone into cruise-control mode. If
something comes out of DRG in the near future I may search my pile of stuff
for the PalmPix and attempt to code for it. With all of the cheap 2mbit+
digital cameras out there it is almost not worth it anymore.
