You can't, my 6160i does not even have a tranceiver installed.  The official
word from Nokia is that US phones are IR equipped.  European GSM models are.

heya,

i have a Nokia 6185 phone.  it has an ir port (or what appears to be one) at
the top of it.  i'm curious as to how to communicate thru it.  when i do a
discovery process on some other devices (printers, pp's, etc). if their ir
ports are 'open' they get detected but the phone isn't.  so i'm wondering
how to open the port on the phone?!?
