Actually, the Pilot 1000 and 5000 ROMs are 512K long.  The PalmPilot
Professional and Personal ROMs are 1024K long.

The only Public port for CE uses only the ROM file from Palm Pro, which is
only 512k; it is rather slow as well.

If you happen to look at the memory occupied by Emulator's process in your
desktop machine you may see why.

To use this, your customers would also need a properly licensed ROM image.
 They'd have to become Palm developers and download the ROM image, or buy
a Palm and download it from there.  Based on the terms you agreed to
before you got access to the ROM images on the web site, you cannot give
these to them.
