Hi,
I am succesfully using windows Hyperterminal to send data to a Palm Vx. The
data is displayed properly and saved accordingly on the Palm. I then send
this saved data back to Hyperterminal. I capture the data and it is fine.
What I realy want to do is use a custom made add-on receiver(a modified
modem) to receive information via the Palm's serial port.
I tried hooking up this custom made receiver to Hyperterminal via a null
modem cable. I turn on the tranmitter and data was received fine.
Connecting the Palm to the custom made receiver results in serial line
errors. I tried using the Online terminal application on the Palm and I
also received serial line errors.
>From what I have read on this forum, the serial line error is commonly
causes by an attempt to send and receive at the same time. All I want to do
is receive data. If this is the case, how would I disable the transmit(if
this is occuring)
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
