hello,
i made my first application and it's work while i'm doing debuging !!! :-)
i use CW6R with constructor (which i update with the SDK 3.5 and the pack 1-
for the constructor).
i have a rsrc file for my resources. lets call it MyFile.rsrc.
when i open this file with constructor i get all my resources types and
names with the ids, and the project setting.
at the project setting ( at the buttom of the widow i open in the
constructor for my MyFile.rsrc file), i put 1000 in the "Application Icon".
near this number i get a button "Create..." that became enable.
above this (in the upper section of the resorce file window) at the subtitle
"Icons" ( there is "Forms","Menu Bars","Menu" and more subtitles) i define
"App Icon 1000" which has the pic of the icon i want to be shown at the
opening screen of my palm ( where all the application like memopad, todo and
more, r located).
when i press the "Create..." button i get a new resorce under the "App Icon
Families" with width and Height of 16.
i press Ctrl+K to create a "Family Items" ( at the open window of the "App
Icon Family 1000") and at the "Bitmap ID" field i enter 1000 and press
"create..." to create an icon.
i creat an icon with width and height of 22 ( i also change it to 22 in the
App Icon widow".
i get a new resorce under "Bitmaps" subtitle on the main window.
now i have this:
* under "Icons" subtitle i have "App Icon" and ID of 1000. ( this is was
before i upgrade my constructor with the new pack of the sdk) - this was my
application icon on the main screen of my device.
* under "Bitmaps" subtitle i have "Bitmap ID 1000" and ID of 1000. (in this
i have the bitmap i cut and paste from the "App Icon" from above).
* under the "App Icon Families" subtitle i have "Application Icon 1000" and
ID of 1000. this is conected to the bitmap from the Bitmap subtitle.
After all this i run my application with the debuger. i admit there is some
bugs but it works in general.
but after i kill it, i don't see the icon of my application on the silk scre
en. (on the POSE)
* i debug with the POSE !
what's wrong??? what is all the changes on this new constractor??? what can
i do for it to work???
