I agree with Jeff.  My review wouldn't be as glowing, but it was a
worthwhile upgrade (fixing the POSE communication problems was worth the
$200).  It also fixed screen update problems I had.  The only drawback
(other than the $200) is that the editor now feels sluggish (I suspect
they're repainting after every keystroke).  Also, I am, and I assume Jeff
is, running on Windows.
