Heh, well, I think I know what the lawyers are going to say.
For the rest of us...
You see, there's a sort of gray area in life. Actually, most of life
happens in this gray area. Everything usually runs along just fine, but
once in a while someone asks permission *before* doing something that might
be bad, instead of apologizing afterward.
Of course the answer to the question is always a resounding "NO", and more
restrictions are imposed than would otherwise be there. If you wait until
afterward, you'd probably get a, "I understand how you could've seen it that
way."
