I seem to have gotten my development environment (and POSE) into a mode
where it just won't work anymore. Every single time I try to run debug, I
get the "Failed to connect to remote" error message.

This was working fine several days ago, so I thought perhaps I've clicked
some setting that fouled things up. So I deleted all .psf files so that POSE
was back to its vanilla settings. I also went back to a very simple starter
application. No success.

I have searched the FAQ's and searched the archives of this forum on
eScribe. I see that this type of error has been happening for a long time
(almost 2 years). Surely someone knows how to fix this.

I have exited CW and the emulator and restarted them... I have rebooted my
PC... I have NOT reformatted my hard drive (yet).

Here is my current environment:
  POSE: 3.0a8
ROM: PalmOS35-en-nonezdbg.rom (an I've tried various others...)
  PC: Windows 2000 Professional
  CodeWarrior IDE 4.0.1
  CodeWarrior Constructor=1.5.b5
  It is partly cloudy outside.
Anything else you need to know, please ask!

I know all software development comes down to black magic, but this is the
blackest I've seen since I stopped doing assembly code debugging using
switch registers...

Help!

Thanks

Brad
