Heather:
I did as you suggested (deleted those folders). I then created a project
from stationary, and it worked just fine. I went back to a very simple
starter type app I had before, and it still had the same problem. So there
must be something saved somewhere in that folder that is fouling things up.
I then noticed the ".stg" file underneath the "Starter_Data" folder, and I
deleted it. My simple project then started working OK.
So I went back to my real project, where I'm actually trying to develop
something. I deleted the "_Data" folder, started the IDE, enabled Debugging,
started the emulator, started debug. It failed; same error message. So
there is something corrupted in that project folder. Any ideas what it might
be?
Thanks for the help!
Brad
PS: I was just kidding about reformatting my hard drive...<G>
