The latest posting (dr5) of the 4.0 roms, SDK, etc. is now available in the
seeding area, accessible through http://www.palmos.com/alliance/resources/
A highlight from that page:
A significant part of Palm OS 4.0 is now GM (finished): the English,
non-device-specific handheld code is declared done. While there are many
other parts of Palm OS 4.0 still being completed (such as the other
languages, the SDK, the desktop components, as well as device-specific
implementations and drivers), this is a significant milestone. You should
take the time to test your application on the DR5 ROM images and
immediately fix any problems that you may find, since devices using Palm OS
4.0 might now appear at essentially any time.
