I may well get flamed for asking such a general and basic question, but I will anyway 
and suffer the consequences.

If we already have a product that works fine in OS 3.5, and that product is being run 
from the "RAM", or card 0, of an OS 4.0
device, and all the files that program needs are also on the primary card, is there 
any reason to expect compatibility problems?

I'm not suggesting not testing with a real OS 4 device, but just in case users try 
their old 3.5 prcs on it, will it generally work?
