Actually not true, though hopefully lessons were learned from a
"don't believe in rumours..." e-mail after a soon-to-be-announced
product was leaked on C|NET last year.  That particular e-mail was 
effectively a denial.    (I think(?) the product was the M100)
I believe Palm, Inc. is now following a more sensible "no comment" 
policy rather than denying leaks, possibly because of the furor caused
by the previous "deny rumours" policy.
I also believe the Palm Inc person was personally embarassed by his
e-mail, and we've all forgiven him for it, certainly I have!
