Its all in the design of your database. The trick is to have a sophisticated
design with many data records within each PDB record.
Our Marietta PDE(tm) software moves large validation files down to
the Palm OS(r) unit at 260KB per minute or 420KB per minute over
a direct serial connection, depending on which version of HotSync(r)
is being used.
With the latest HotSync, even on a serial cradle, your download
time for a 1.2MB file should be 3 to 4 minutes.
