This is one of the reasons why Handspring went to masked ROM.  Jeff Hawkins was quoted 
when the Visor launched that it was discovered that
only 5% of all Palm users upgrade their OS in Flash.  Thus those that bitch about 
Handspring not having Flash is a very overvocal
minority.
