Selective beaming of .pdb files while beaming and app

When you beam an application (with multiple .pdb files), can you specify
which .pdb gets beamed and which ones don't?

I want to write an app in which only interesting public data is beamed
while personal settings, etc. aren't.

Is the preference record beamed when an application is beamed?
