You can beam an app directly from an Expansion Manager card. Bundled
databases with the same creator ID on the same card will be beamed along
with it.

I'm glad we're having this discussion, because I had a question about
4.0 beaming this morning. What if the app or the database associated
with the app is stored on a SD card? I noticed in POSE that if you
select Beam from the menu on the application launcher screen, databases
stored on the card don't show up. Of course, the card doesn't show up
in Card Info either, so that may not really mean anything. Bottom line,
what does the OS do about beaming if the data is on a card? (I know
this isn't exactly directly related, but it seemed to follow pretty
well)
