I'm glad we're having this discussion, because I had a question about
4.0 beaming this morning. What if the app or the database associated
with the app is stored on a SD card? I noticed in POSE that if you
select Beam from the menu on the application launcher screen, databases
stored on the card don't show up. Of course, the card doesn't show up
in Card Info either, so that may not really mean anything. Bottom line,
what does the OS do about beaming if the data is on a card? (I know
this isn't exactly directly related, but it seemed to follow pretty
well)

Say you have a PRC and several PDBs associated with that PRC, and the
PRC has the ability to beam under it's own control. Is it possible to
beam, under the PRC's control, a PRC and the associated PDBs in one
shot? The main criteria is that the sender has to press only one button
to beam everything, and the receiver only has to "accept" once.

Are you talking OS 4.0, or something earlier. In anything before 4.0,
your
.pdbs do not get beamed with the .prc, you must perform that function in
a
separate step, presumably through your app, in which case you can
control
what gets beamed and what doesn't.
