Since its a SPT 1700 from Symbol, talk to them.  They may support this, they
may not, either way they will have the answers for you.  Usually a Flash
upgrade replaces the entire OS, with a new one, rather than adding bits.
However, newer OS, e.g. 3.5 are backwardly compatible with prior versions.
The exception to this is software that writes directly to hardware, instead
of using a Palm API, which may not work afterwards.
