My PalmPilot reset itself this morning, and refused to get past
the Logo screen. This happened while snoozing a DateBk4
alarm. The alarm dialog went away and I was left with a blank
screen for quite a while, at which point I hit reset and was left
with the logo screen for quite a while, then I tried the up-button
reset so I could hotsync.

It came up ok to the general prefs screen ok. I then tried to
HotSync and got a box saying:
    Fatal Error
   MemoryMgrNew.c
   Line:4177, Free handle
    [Reset]

Same box comes up if I start up (up-button reset) and then
just try to get to the applications screen.

There is stuff that has not been backed up since yesterday
that I would -desparately- like to save, but I don't know where
I can go from here.

Is there any app that can clean up the memory chain
and get rid of this Free Handle problem?
