Problem is you've installed an app that is not responding
properly to notifications sent to it, that's why you can
use your Palm when you do a no-notify reset, and why when
trying to HotSync you get the error: at the beginning of
the HotSync there's a HotSync-Start notification.
And it seems that you cannot beam-receive an app such as
Beamware or RsrcEdit that could help you reset things...
but that's what I would try, beam exchange instead of Hot-
Sync.
