Having written an application for a client that targeted both the color
Palms and color CE devices, I can tell you, it is not an exercise for the
faint of heart. One of your biggest problems will be explaining to
management why the effort on one device is nearly equal to the effort on the
other.. be prepared to answer this question over and over as non-tech folks
seem to not be able to wrap their brain around the fact that just because
they are both hand held computers doesn't mean they are the same to program.

Invest/download an installer as well, especially if you will be doing
conduits. I use Catapult from www.beiks.com.

Make sure that TPTB know which platform, however. I ran into a lot of
confusion from the client on what the differences were between Pocket PCs
and Palm PCs and why one written specifically for the Pocket PC looked funny
on the Palm PC.

I also recommend a large bottle of Tums. Seriously.
