With every release, more of the original Mac code that was ported is
replaced with native Windows code. Version 7's IDE (IDE 4.1.0.2) is
actually very Windows-like -- no context-driven menus (unless you set
them to Macintosh style), normal Windows behavior in minimizing and
maximizing, menu items set up to conform with the Windows standard, etc.
I know there is a still a need for many more improvements, but we need
specific issues with the interface, not generalities that I don't feel
apply anymore (I don't think the IDE in version 7 feels very Mac-like).
