The title bar of the error dialog has 'Metroworks CodeWarrior'. The
error doesn't appear if the emulator isn't loaded (instead I get the dialog
requesting that the emulator be started).

Win2000, CW7.1, SDK4
One problem with pinning this problems down is that between installing
CW7.1 and now I've added more memory and a hard drive to this
machine and I'm seeing some stability problems from CodeWarrior
and the emulator. I'm fairly sure that I tested CW immediately after
installing it, but can't gaurantee that I tried to debug a prc so it's hard
to say whether these problems are CW7.1 or Win2000 complaining
about the changes. Certainly I was surprised to find that the emulator
shipped with CW7 (30a7?) failed with exceptions, although that may
have been problems with old psf files laying around.
More detail...
The prc loads and runs fine on the emulator, it's the debug attempt that
produces the problem.
My problem is slightly different using the PalmOS 4 debug ROMs -
the message changes to 'Unknown error code 0x%04x' (still with the
Metroworks CodeWarrior title).
Before installing CW7 I uninstalled the versions of CW6 and CW5 that
were still sitting on the machine. Since this machine also had SDK3.1
and SDK3.5 on it (which don't seem to provide uninstalls?) this may be
a registry problem or an issue with mis-matched version remnants.
Something that makes me suspect the registry is that the 'Launch Emulator'
option on the Palm menu wasn't doing anything. I used the preferences
to browse to the emulator.exe and now it works. I'm sure that the path
defined hasn't changed but...
