This is not about the name of the item but about what happens when you
select it.
To my understanding, if the menu item results in an additional form where
user input is requested before the requested operation can be completed,
"..." is added to the item name.
So things like load, save as, preferences, change font, delete, and so on
should probably all have a trailing ellipsis (like the built-in apps).
But this may be the result of being exposed to Windows interface
guidelines, the Palm documentation doesn't say anything at all about the
use of the ellipsis...
