Does anyone know why when I put in two 1.2 V NiMH batteries into a Palm m125 the voltage level reads as 3.0V? Is Palm scaling the voltage up for the benefit of the novice user or is it increasing the voltage internally and the voltage is accurate as some point in the circuitry?
