Greetings, I'm a graduate student in computer science. Me and 2 other classmates are doing a research project this semester on Palm OS for our operating systems class.
I was wondering if there is any way I could find out what parts of the AMX kernel are used by Palm OS 3.x . Kadak,(creator of AMX) says on their FAQ: "The 3Com PalmOS does not provide access to the underlying AMX 68000 Multitasking Kernel. Instead, it provides a preconfigured collection of AMX tasks and AMX compatible device drivers which manage the Palm device." I would like to figure out which tasks of the AMX kernel are included in the "preconfigured collection" used by Palm. Is this information publically available? If so, where? I've contacted Kadak, they had nothing helpful to say... Thanks in advance to all who reply.
