The build instructions for the Unix version of Poser mention "XFree86 3.3.3.1-49". I thought that Mac OS X didn't come with an X Windows server. If that's true (executing 'locate X11' doesn't turn up anything that looks like an X11 installation), then I'm not sure what you're planning on using for display and drawing. >checking for 'int fl_height (void)' in -lfltk... no >configure: error: *** FLTK *must* be installed before running configure. *** This just means that a small test program that references a FLTK function failed. It isn't too particular as to *why* it failed, which could include the lack of X Windows. I think that 'configure' writes the error message to a log file if you want the actual error message. There's a Darwin version of XFree86 on their web site, but I have no information (either first or second hand) on how well it installs, works, or integrates into Mac OS X's native display drivers. You might also want to search for "XFree86 Darwin" and examine the myriad useful pages that are returned. -- Keith Rollin -- Palm OS Emulator engineer -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
