If you ask me, I think it's more of a pride thing - "Yeah, I'm so good at writing code, even Gremlins can't break it..." - does anyone here remember the /. April Fools day story about programming and sexual performance? If not, I'll try to dig up a copy of it somewhere - granted, it's not meant to be taken seriously, but I think they might've been closer to the truth than they realized... I mean, think about it - you've been hunting down this bug for (insert, relative to your experiences, long period of time here), and you finally find it - you get it at 450pm that day, you're in a good mood, you get home, your significant other is there... doesn't it seem like there are more sparks between you right then as compared to when you couldn't find the bug? <stereotypical male mindset> "Oh, I conquered this bug... I'm big now... Now, let's go home and show my wife who's the boss of the bedroom..." </stereotypical male mindset> Ok, maybe not quite like that, but I think I get my point across... has anyone else here noticed that? How, when they're all psyched up from their job, they tend to be more enthusiastic in other areas, such as (but not limited to) intimate relations? And just the opposite, as well... Actually, now that I think about it... Heather, if you're out there somewhere(along with any other lurking women on this list), does this go the other way too? -C > > > > -- > For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, > or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
