CodeWarrior for Palm OS V8, hosted on Mac OS, is a Carbon application. As shipped out of the box, it can't run completely in Carbon mode because of a dependence on a non-Carbonized plugin, the PalmRez post linker. This problem was fixed when PalmSource updated this plugin in their 4.0 SDK Update 1, and with that patch installed, it runs on Mac OS X without any need for Classic mode. As for the OS X 10.2 problems, I'd not heard of anything until now. However, we've done no testing of the current version of the Palm OS tools on this new OS; I'm still running OS X 10.1.5 on my G4 box, and I don't think our debugger engineer has upgraded either. This does concern me, and I'll try to talk to the CW for Mac OS product team and see what they've needed to do to adapt to Apple's new OS, and if they have any speculation as to how communications between the IDE and the Palm OS Emulator could have been affected. -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
