I'm not sure it is Constructor that's converting your colors. Constructor saves the bitmap to the RSRC file, and the PalmRez post-linker is responsible for converting it to the Palm OS bitmap format. I think that if you use the PilRC plugin for CW, it directly output the bitmap format, bypassing the PalmRez downsample. I could be wrong -- if you save in pretty colors in Constructor, do they still show up if you reopen the .rsrc file?As for how to accomplish all of this with Constructor...good luck.
